We are proud owner of La Bettole dell'Eroico in Radda in Chianti, Tuscany to feature this 6-day, Eroica experience, gourmet food from Michelin-award winning Chef Fabio Flagiello, and exclusive wine tastings from some of Italy's best wineries. Start the week by exploring the best biking routes, vineyards, historic villages, and pizza in Tuscany and participating in the infamous L’Eroica, which celebrates cycling in its purest form - white gravel roads and retro bikes, helmets and jerseys. Plus take part in vintage bike expo, festival and other special events in Chianti that weekend.
With all of this riding, you’re going to work up an appetite. Reward yourself each night with a private gourmet meal prepared by Chef Fabio. If he’s not in the kitchen cooking, Fabio will select a one of his favorite restaurants for locally-sourced food and exquisite wine. |

Itinerary
- 1.30pm - Pick up at Florence Train Station
- 4.00pm - Arrive at Villa
- 6.00pm - Welcome cocktail poolside
- 8.00pm - Dinner on the Veranda
- 12.00am - Pasta and Aglio e Olio for those still standing
- 8.00am - Breakfast and briefing
- 9.00am - RIDE 40 miles Eroica style ride to Gaiole and Radda, through Strade Bianche and paved roads
- 1.00pm - Meet in downtown Gaiole for lunch, festival visit and registration pick up; Return to the Villa via bike or van
- 4:00pm - Relaxing pool afternoon
- 7.00pm - Aperitivo of Prosecco and Stuzzichini
- 8.00pm - Wine Dinner with local wine maker Paolo Caciorgna at his winery Roccie di Casole
- Vin Santo, Grappa e Cantucci
- 8.00am - Breakfast and briefing
- 9.00am - RIDE 40 miles Eroica style through different gravel roads of Chianti
- 12.00pm - Lunch at the villa
- 3:00pm - Drive to Gaiole for the Eroica festival (http://www.eroicagaiole.com/programme)
- 8.00 - Dinner at the Villa
- 8.00am - Breakfast
- 6.30am - Depart for Gaiole
- 8.00am - RIDE - Start of L'Eroica
- Regroup after the ride in downtown Gaiole for aperitivo and tramezzini
- 8.00pm - Dinner at the Villa
- Rest Day
- 8.00am - Breakfast and briefing
- 9.00am - Optional 2 hour easy ride or relax at the Villa
- 12.00pm -Lunch at the Villa
- 3.00pm - Depart for Siena
- 3.30pm - Arrival in Siena, visit of the square and historical down town.
- 6.00pm - Date night
- 9.00pm - Meet on the square and head back to the Villa to get ready for the first of our 3 days of riding to Rome
- 8.00am - Breakfast and briefing
- 9.00am - RIDE 55 miles to Foligno, starting from Cortona, trough Umbertide, Perugia, will stop for a picnic lunch half way

- 9.00am - RIDE 55 miles to Rieti through some of the best back roads of Umbria, mostly rolling, via Spoleto and Terni, will enjoy a quick lunch in a local trattoria on the road

- 9.00am - Final day of riding to Rome. RIDE 50 miles to Tivoli; Will enter the region of Lazio riding through small towns and rolling hills

REST DAY AND TRANSFER TO ROME

- 12:00pm - Hotel check-in; Enjoy a free afternoon in Rome

- 8.00pm - Gran Fondo VIP Gala, hosted by Gianluca Santilli at beautiful private villa on the Appia Antica in Rome; We will be joined by some of Gianluca’s friends and other Gran Fondo Roma participants

- 9.00am - Easy 2-3 hour PRE GRAN FONDO RIDE, head south of Rome from Circo Massimo, will join Gianluca cycling group BiciItalia
- 1:00pm - Regroup and pick up our registration package
- 2:00pm - Lunch and return to the hotel
- 3:00pm - Free afternoon and evening to visit the Eternal City

- 6.00am - Breakfast and depart to the start
- 8.00am - START OF THE GRAN FONDO CAMPAGNOLO ROMA; we will be have the unique opportunity to start in the first grid with Italian cycling legends
- 3.00pm - Meet near the finish line and head back to the hotel by van; Enjoy a restful afternoon
- 7.30pm - Meet at the hotel to attend a very special farewell Dinner
