Fabio Tours is proud to partner with Italian Cycling Coach Aldo Zini and Teide Cycling to offer you an exclusive Cycling Training Camp in Tenerife, Spain. Every year hundreds of professional cyclists from PRO teams as for example the great Bahrain Merida, Astana, and Sky - just to mention a few - spend their winters here for a reason. The magnificent climate, the high altitudes, the wide variety of routes, and the challenging climbs are just some of the reasons why more and more cyclists choose just Tenerife and his majesty "El Teide" for their cycling holidays and training camps and to set the grounds for a successful cycling season! Plus, the famous Teide Volcano will charm you with its perfect roads and a 45 km climb.
Professional cycling coaches as your guides
It’s one thing to go there alone or even in a group and ride by yourself not knowing where to go, what rides to do first, and how to have the perfect Canarian experience. 2019 marks the fourth year in a row that Aldo Zini, Italian cycling coach and team leader have led cycling training camps and cycling tours in Tenerife so we have extensive technical knowledge on the rides, the weather, and more. Plus, each day our rides are guided by a professional cycling coach to help you make the most out of your experience.
Given our cycling needs, we have handpicked some of the best hotels and villas in Tenerife. All of the hotels will allow the cyclists to bring their bikes in the rooms and will provide a wide range of services for our cycling needs including early breakfast, late lunch, special dietary needs and access to delicious local cuisine.
Fresh food and international recipes
The food is a key ingredient of this adventure. If you choose to stay in the villa, Chef Fabio will provide a mix of hand-picked restaurants and his own cooking throughout the week. In both the villa and hotels, all meals will feature locally-sourced fruits, vegetables, legumes, beef, fish and seafood bright with flavor. In addition to incredible food, you’ll drink wine that represents the history and personality of the region. Please let our team know if you have any dietary restrictions prior to your arrival.
More than just cycling
There are many reasons to travel to Tenerife. Other than cycling, local food, and good accommodations, we know the best places of interest and the most important local traditions. Tenerife is a very colorful island and its mix of African, European, and native cultures - combined with breathtaking scenery and rich sea life - make it a very special place that we can’t wait to share with you.
Daily routes range from 70K - 100K with elevation gains from 1,500 meters up to 4,000 meters.
