Fabio Tours is proud to partner with Cycling CME to bring you a fantastic week in Tuscany. This 7-day, all inclusive trip combines cycling with 10 hours of Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits for any medical professional including physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and hospital management.
Each day, you’ll bicycle between 30-60 miles along quiet roads through the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside with a guide. Plus, choose a road bike or an electric bike for your adventures. In addition to exploring the countryside on two wheels, you will receive 10 hours of engaging, interactive CME credit that will be useful for both your personal health and your patients' well being. After you work up an appetite riding your bike and participating in the hands-on learning, the focus is on the food and wine! You’ll enjoy fresh, locally-sourced Italian meals prepared by Chef Fabio plus two cooking classes. The group will stay in a private villa, complete with private rooms and bathrooms, outdoor dining, a lounge pool and scenic, countryside views. This is an immersive cycling, learning, and culinary vacation like no other! |

lodging
Cycling Tuscany with CME Credit is a unique trip because you will not move between hotels throughout the week. You'll stay at Villa Nonno Fernando in the heart of Tuscany. Our group will have the entire Villa to ourselves for the whole week, complete with individual rooms, private bathrooms, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. The villa features a swimming pool, outdoor veranda for dining with exquisite views, professional kitchen, and walking gardens.
Villa Nonno Fernando, a farmhouse built entirely in stone, has origins dating back to the beginning of the 19th century. In the recent renovation, the original layout was preserved and a combination of original and salvage materials create a space that's rich with history and comfort. Preparation
With daily routes averaging between 30-60 miles, Cycling Tuscany with CME for Medical Professionals is challenging but fun for the social cyclist. Terrain varies between the vineyards and olive groves of the rolling countryside to climbs of 4-5% grade. All roads are paved asphalt, perfect for road bikes, with breathtaking vistas, small medieval towns and historic buildings. Leading up to the trip, we recommend that guests are consistently riding 2–3 days a week so that they are comfortable in the saddle for 2–3 hour rides. Riders should be accustomed to climbing and descending, as well as bike handling on hills and curved roads.
